I sold something on eBay.  The auction ended Saturday, 12/3.

I just got email from the buyer indicating they will pay on 12/12.

WTF?

if you don't set a pay in so many days, ebay normal policy is 10 days.

You need to let them know your payment policy in writing. Include it in your auction under the payment instructions. I let people know they have one week from auction end to get me the money or I re-list the item.

From my own experience with Ebay.

The more specific you are in your terms and conditions, the less the chance of problems. You can still have problems, but you need to state how long for them to notify you, what payment terms you accept and how long it should be for you to get it. Otherwise, you will end up with a huge cluster fuck from some of the asshats that buy off of Ebay. Been there, done that.

Thanks.

I'm making changes to current listings as we speak.
