I live in a county where i think that you cannot have a FFL and operate it out of your house.  I need storefront.  I live in the rural area of the county also

question is,  how do i get around that?  Could i take a shop that is in the back yard and make it into a storefront?

any advice on this would be appreciated

thanks
Brian

Might want to check with your county's Land Use/Permits/Zoning office.Probably get a little more useful response than on here. Then draw down on 'em!

It's a Federal license and unless SC also issues a license with location requirements, then the lady is wrong.  On the other hand, the feds won't issue an FFL unless all the local licensing requirements are met.

Here is a place to start research -
www.scstatehouse.net/code/statmast.htm

Do a search a the top of this page with word firearms to get a return of 3 pages of references.  You might try license and licensing, also.
