Bacardi is real popular but what else is good? I love Rum! But want to try something new! Is there really  a difference in taste between brands? What do you like?

Myers, Captain Morgan's, it's all good to me.  I'm not picky when it comes to rum.  (That rhymed. )

I'm partial to Catpain Morgan spiced rum and coke.  They go down real easy.

For a nice sipping rum I like Pussars Rum.

Or Belize where I can highly recomend "One Barrel" Rum .

It's apples and oranges to stuff you get here . And CHEAP it's all theyve ever known .

Gosling's Black Seal - it is like molasses - very sweet, rich taste.

For something different, try Centenario (Costa Rican) rum.

Mount Gay Extra Old. Try it and you won't want anything else. It consistently wins worldwide awards and is the smoothest rum I've ever had.

Depends on what you want to do.  You want to get plastered off your ass, Appleton 151 Jamaican rum.  Supposedly coconut rum is good, coulda fooled me.  I don't remember who makes it, but Eclipse rum is good, very flavorful.  MJD
