Since you have to do the put a ruger MKII back together with the upsidedown and so on, You cant put a ruger mark series pistol back together in space. Someone also commented that a gun would be silent since theres no air. not sure how true that is.

Sir, please put down the drugs, your syntax makes the Baby Jesus cry Since space is a vacuum, would the gun even fire |
Sure. If you think about it, any oxygen you'd need (if any) would be in the case already, and I doubt the suction of a vaccum would be enough to pull a bullet out of a casing with that little air and that strong of a wall. Just imagine bullets that never drop (unless it gets close to a star/planet/ec.) and shell casings that fly just as far as the bullets. Not to mention recoil...heck, the "kick" would be "so strong" that you'd fly as far as the bullet, too (albeit really slowly and in the opposite direction). I can see the ballistics charts now: .223 w/55grn bullet: TRAJECTORY 100 yards: -0" 500 yards: -0" 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 yards: -0" VELOCITY 100 yards: 3,200 fps 500 yards: 3,200 fps 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 yards: 3,200 fps |
