Boy does that stuff work! I got charged by a pair or pit bulls today and one spray of Halt, they turned tail and ran. Those dogs did not want anything to do with me. They went to the opposite side of their yard and stayed there until I left. It sure beats the old claw hammer routine.

So what is Halt. A pepper spray or a tear gas or a mace product?

ETA I googled it. .35% capsaicin, used by the USPS for dogs.

It is a pepper spray that utility companies, surveyors, letter carriers, and such use. I think that these two dogs were familiar with the sent and did not want to be part of another learning experience.
