Guys, I had asked Augman if it would be possible to do a group buy on the Kahles scope that he has up for sale in the equipment exchange forum;

So basically if I can get 10 people together he'll lower the price to $300 plus shipping per scope, a saving of $84 each. All I would have to do is gather the names of the people participating in the group purchase and you can individually e-mail Augman for payment and shipping details. Respond to the thread if your interested. Mod - hope this is not out of line for the GD section....

I'd be interested, but where would you get the rings? I've seen inch and 30mm, but not 26mm.

Did a bit of digging for 26mm rings, a couple of solutions;

Optic Gear at $ 32.00 Vs. Mountian Solutions at
$ 130.00 ? Hum.... Is that $ 32.00 a pair or each ? Someone suggested using 1" rings with electrical tape inside the rings to make up the
diffrence. Any thoughts or other suggestions ?

Guys, I just got an e-mail from augman this morning, he just sold out of the 128 scopes that he had [>(] He tells me that he'll be getting in another shipment in 2-3 weeks but won't know if they'll be as cherry as his first batch. If I can get another member to make the total count 10, I maybe could ask him to pick the best 10 out of his next shipment. What do you guys think?

Guys, mine arrived today. It is outstanding. If you do get a chance to get one of these from Augman do yourself a favor and pick one up. An added bonus , for me anyway since I am mounting it on a custom M1A, is that the top turret is marked M14! Thanks again for the extremely quick service Augman.
