Senator Graham / Demint: I am encouraged the Republicans have FINALLY started unmasking Democratic lies about the war in Iraq and other subjects. President Bush's comments and Mr. Cheney's comments are encouraging to see. Now its time for you and the rest of the Republicans to ALSO speak out in places other than conservative talk radio shows. I was beginning to wonder if you all had the spine to stand up for the truth. And that what its all about. Its NOT political posturing, its about telling America the truth. You gotta name names, remind America of what these lying DemocRATS have said in the past, and ASK why they are saying something different now. You don't need to be vindictive, but you DO need to fight the good fight. In that Pres. Bush and VP Cheney are FINALLY doing well. I need to see more from them, and I need to send you on ABC, NBC and CBS standing for truth also. Next, I need to see CUTTING spending (Republicans have spent like drunken sailors) championing school choice, forwarding privatization of social security, get Mr. Alito confirmed....in short ACT LIKE conservatives. Garnering my vote depends on it. While I am largely pleased with your voting record personally, I need you to talk to President Bush and some of these RINO colleagues of yours. I wouldn't hold your breath on that one  Spending seems to be like crack to politicians - the more they do, the more they want, and they simply cannot make themselves stop. Not an attack on republicans, just a general disillusionment with politicians. ... sorry didn't mean to hijack the letter-writing theme. Obviously, I don't write to elected officials - although I suppose I COULD.
