I have quite a few. For daily carry i like my Mel pardue auto. i also occasionally carry my benchmade auto with serrate blade. when going out of state on business i usually don't carry an auto knife since they are illegal in some states and i don't carry a serrate blade since they cannot be brought on a plane. For travel i use a Benchmade with tonto blade-no serrations measures just under the 4" limit. For field dressing game animals i like the Mel perdue with with both edges sharpend--works very efficiently.

Colt Cobra, Tanto blade, for the past two years or so.  It has been through hell and back, lost for a time in a pond, still 100%.  Love the serrations on it, easy to resharpen, cuts *anything*.

I have been carrying a Spyderco Co-Pilot on board airplanes for 13yrs without a problem.  It has a serrated edge.  I put a couple of bucks in the clip and the security folks pass it through without a hitch.  The few times I have been questioned, I tell 'em its a money clip.  Also, can anyone reference the Federal Regulation that supposedly outlaws a serrated knife on an airplane.

Spyderco Jess Horn Lightweight
50/50 serrated and I had all the metal beadblasted when the paint started wearing off the clip. It's really light so it doesn't drag down the side of my trousers when clipped to the pocket of a pair of dress trousers.

I used to carry an OD Endura in my hip pocket, but it caught the strikeplate on a door I swiftly entered and the clip went flyin'. I now carry either a Delica or CQC7......in my waitband.[:)] Anyone have an endura body they want to sell? heheh

I used to agree...until the lock failed on mine (m16 series) and almost severed my finger. I still do have a stiff Kiss I keep on my ruck. Only weighs about an ounce. Sweet!

Well I have about 4 diferent Benchmade knives
that I carry depending on what I'm doing or where I'm going & what I'm wearing.

BM612s Crawford Cub
BM880s Sentinel
BM910s Stryker
& a Benchmade Emerson CQC7
can't remember if it's a BM975SBT or BM875SBT?

and I keep a large S&W "SWAT" knife as well
as a Leatherman in the glovebox :)

I've been wanting to buy one of the new Axis locks.

Hey all,

My everyday carry is my Emerson Commander and a MOD Hornet as a backup.

For special occasions I carry my Strider Knives GB.

Take care,

Steve

Well after still serving 25yrs+ in two Commonwealth Military Forces, I have carried several. Long knives, bayonets such as the  ole C1, C7 (Cdn M7) L1, M7, M9, Tula AKM, and Ek Cdo knife.

They are all big, and the most delicate was the Ek. The most robust, the M9. The most useless, the AKM (bringback from Kuwait).

As for the pocket knife. I use a Kershaw folder, and always carry the mini Swiss on my keys. That has come in the most useful. The best I reckon. But, depends what you are carrying it for. The scissors, tweezers (for the splinters) and the toothpick thingo too.

I wonder what we could come up with for a AR15.com LEGP "Tactical Folder"? Gunsite has it's own knife...
