I am in the market for something that plays music, movies, and stores pictures as well as data. Do you know if the IPOD stores files like Microsoft Office documents, etc???? The new 60 GB IPOD has caught my attention but I want to make sure it stores data. MPNelson |

I just picked up the newst one that plays movies. Very cool. You can rip DVDs, convert them to quicktime and watch them on it. Only problem is that they're having a lot of problems with them: The screen scratches easily (happend to me) batteries die prematurely. Actually, Apple is recalling the Nano either now or at least in the near very future. ![]() Very neat though. Worlds better than my old PSP I used to own (SONY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!) |

How do you transfer mp3 files to an iPod? Can you just plug it in with the USB cable and drag and drop them like you woudl an external HD or USB Flash drive? Or do you have to use some special Apple program than actually coverts them to some proprietary Apple iPod format so you can move the files off the player and onto another PC? Really want one but I'm not into the hassle of having to run them files through some lame as program. I have CD's filled with mp3 files and it'd be much eaiser to just drag and drop them as I see fit. |
