Ok, Please don't bash me.  I did a search (but am still limited to the non-Team member status at the moment) and did not find anything.

I am relatively new to the site, and can honestly say I love the info from it...  I learn so much that helps me with my recently purchased BM "Patrolman's Carbine".

Last night, I went to buy a membership (and a patch) and was going to use my Visa CC.  Somehow, it took me into/through Paypal and I now have a Paypal account.  I did go ahead and order my membership though.

Can someone please explain this Paypal stuff to me?  I merely wanted to buy my membership with my CC, but it seemed to go through Paypal.  Also, when I buy other stuff on here (and I will), how can I use just my CC?  Because it seems that using Paypal is an extra 3%.

Hell, I just ain't gettin' it, so throw myself at yer mercy for a bit of help.  If there is someone out there that don't mind taking a few minutes to explain it to me, that would be great, and thanks in advance!

P.S. I am hoping this is the correct forum, it did not seem to fit elsewhere.

To use a credit card the paypal account must be set up for it. mostly merchants do the credit card thing. The 3% is paid by them, not you. That is why sometimes the merchart will require you to pay 3% more if paying with paypal and credit card.

Paypal is basicly a limited online bank and money transfer operation
