Today this girl was telling me how bad milk was. She said her doctor said that it is bad for you. That it is just puss from a cow. Also it is bad for your bones. WTF? |
|
People are not supposed to drink cow milk. Why would you drink the secretions of the mammary gland of something not your species. Does any other creature in nature drink another animals milk, no. There is a reason, its not for them. Why do you think so many ppl are lactose intolerant. The body was not designed to ingest so much milk. That being said, I love cheese, Ice cream and other stuff made from cows or sheeps milk, but I am opposed to drinking the milk whole. I drink soymilk cuz im lactose intolerant and it's tastes better on my cereal than beer. |
I'll drink 1% if I have to. I drink 2% to compromise because I know how fatty whole mike is. But if I was not trying to watch my weight, I would drink nothing but whole. |
But isn't whole milk like 4%....granted by switching to 2% you save 50% of the fat....but its not like whole milk is 80%.... If you only drink it every once in a while, I don't think whole milk is much worse than 2%...but if you drink it everyday.... |

Lemme preface this that I like cheese, cream, and all things dairy. Furthermore in a SHTF situation, I will probably take ice cream by force. HOWEVER Milk as processed in this day and age is absolutely disgusting. It has more pathogens, hormones, and basically disgusting stuff in it to make you want to puke if you know about it. The hormones in it can really play hell with people's systems including young people in their growth stages. Milk is made to take a cow from baby up to like 1500 lbs as fast as possible. No mammal on the planet drinks the milk of their mother after they are weaned. Animals are not supposed to drink the milk of other animals. And the current health of production cows is disgusting. The end all to this in my mind is pretty well documented in the book: Milk the Deadly Poison. Sounds like a left wing freak document, but it is full of well referenced stuff that will make you think. In the end, I don't drink milk pretty much at all. I still eat cheese, cook with cream, and eat butter (I'm Italian, WTF am I supposed to do??). If you get between me and Blue Bell, I'll draw down on your ass. Them are the trade-offs I make. And while we are on it, Soy is terrible too. Not only does it taste horrible, but it has chemicals in it that mimick human hormones and play hell with your body too. Stay away from it. |
What about honey, vinegar, bread, beer, wine, pickles, and lots of other things made possible by the secretions or waste products of animals or bacteria? We weren't "meant" to eat any of that either.
Actually, the answer is "yes". Ants milk aphids. There are probably other examples. |
vinegar? |

lets just say my moms familys bisness was Dariy/Farming, and my Dad grew up on a Farm with a milk cow. Milk by the gallon is the norm. Fresh milk cannot be beat, even the $6/gal organic stuff dosent come close. Fresh, pasteurized, un-homoginized, whole, cows milk. yummy! |
Well, that my friend is some awesome puss! I'm really glad a cow has a special puss dispenser. I'm gonna go get a big ole' cup o'puss right now! MMMMMmmmm.....puss....mmmmmm |
last time I checked, aphids were not mammals |
Guess you never heard of the cat/dog drinking the mother dog/cats milk? What about the baby raccoon and the mother pig? And if you were lactose intolerant, you wouldn't be able to eat cheese or ice cream or milk duds. |
You didn't specify mammals. You said creatures. It's pretty common in nature for animals to eat the byproducts of other animals, whether it be milk, secretions, or otherwise. Bears eat honey, for example. The bees didn't make the honey for the bears, but it's still loaded with nutrients the bear can digest. |
Well, actually...that is only an 8 times increase in mass....relatively small....afterall using the same idea, it would turn a 10 pound baby into an 80 pound adult. Not really a big deal.... |
|
Processed dairy products like yogurt and cheese are fine for lactose-intolerant ppl - the bacteria breaks down the lactose. Ice cream, unfortunately, still contains lactose. I have it on and off and it pisses me off because I love milk. Makes a body strong. Soy milk is the devil. It's loaded with estrogen. No wonder the pussy metros all drink that crud. Ya'll are aware that alcohol is yeast piss, right? What creature drinks the piss of another creature... for social purposes! The Horror!

I drink the milk. And I eat the cow. What is bad for you is salad. Greens will put you in an early grave. What do cows eat? GREENS!!! and they die early....so I can eat them. Rabbits eat lettuce.....and then they make a lovely stew....etc. Vegans and vegetarians should have followed the natural order and faced death by carnivour by now, something is out of whack in the food chain ![]() On a serious note. Our bodies are able to adapt to our environment and surroundings. If a person never drank milk, and then at the age of 25 had a tall glass of white mustache, I'm pretty sure they would have some pooping problems. Also, if a person has never eaten red meat, and then ingests a nice 12oz steak, their body will have issue breaking down something so thick. Pushups could be bad for you if you've never done them. Drinking the full 8 glasses of water everday will dangerously thin your blood if you don't usually drink that much water and suddenly decide to start all in one day. We can adapt to and eat pretty much anything...at least I have learned this about myself, so I cannot speak for everyone. I just know that the design of the human body is relatively similar from person to person. We aren't like Fords and Mercedes, some of us don't NEED to run on premium unleaded, we've just developed habits that make us think that we do. |
Lactose intolerance has been around for a while; it's especially prevalent in black and asian populations. Difference being, instead of killing us, it makes us really gassy. ![]() Small price to pay for ice cream, I say. |

Animals are not supposed to drink the milk of other animals. And the current health of production cows is disgusting. Care to explain why you feel todays cows are un-healthy. |

If animals won't drink the milk of another species, what happens when you put some milk in a saucer and place it in front of a cat? Does the cat know it's not supposed to drink it? I suspect that animals don't drink the milk from other species because it's hard to get the other species to cooperate and let them drink the milk, and not because they can't. In other words, the cow isn't going to let the wolf suck milk out of it's teats willingly. |
