Got a few questions... I just picked up a Uniden BearCat 246T. Did I do good? Also, where do you guys get your software for your scanner/PC setup? ive found a couple of free downloads, but was wondering what you'd recommend. How bout freq. refs? etc. Any additional info, tips, etc. would be appreciated. |
| Not sure where you live, but buying a non-digital scanner now is a waste of cash. Looks nice and seems to have all the good analog features, but nearly all public service is going digital or already has. Here in "The Valley" all police except Scottsdale are digital now. Some of the really small towns are still regular analog non-trunked, but even Flagstaff is digital now, so it's only a matter of time. |
