Question:  What is the easiest way to smuggle something out of Poland?

Answer:  Walk backward through security.

I think we should start a Poll:

Which word is more often misspelled in its meaning:

Poll – Opinion
Pole – Pole Vault
Pole - Polish

1. I just did.

2. I really didn't

3. You and I are both confused.

4. Poll vs. Pole

P.S. regarding the avatar pic....I cain't find no damn small enough picture to fit within the confines. And, I don't have/want  no fancy pictwister to squeezem' in. Besides, I like the "generic" American Flag. If I come across some little picture that suits me....I'll plug it in.

.....It can be done. And, from the right perspective, you can still get your message across.

P.S......What IS the origin of PolishPeople jokes? Why ARE they the BUTT of so many other people's putdowns?

I'll put down anybody as soon as anybody else....and, there are some darn good "PolishPeople" jokes....but those jokes can apply to any other "group" of people as well (edited so I don't get banned).

I love Polish people. Maybe we could entice Poland to become the 53rd state of America.

Boy, wouldn't that shake some booty.

I thought it was the legendary Polish legislature, which required a 100% yes vote to enact anything. Needless to say they never got anything done.

That can be both good and bad.

Hmmmmm.

There's this really great joke about a memory course....but I forgot the punchline.

I could tell you a joke about a dirty window....but you wouldn't see through it.

And there's that old classic roof joke....but it's over your heads.

Now, the peacock joke....that's a beautiful tale!

I like poles that hold stuff up; not so sure about solutions to differential equations.  The earth's magnetic poles are pretty useful, and provide pretty skies during an aurora event.
