(I posted this over at AnandTech, decided to share it with you guys too) Penny Arcade (NSFW in that it's a comic that uses the word "fuck" a lot, as well as other semi-risque concepts, but no porno) I congratulate Penny Arcade for having the balls it takes to take on this... interesting character. I feel sorry for those who have been devastated by the hideous suit-happiness of Mr. Thompson, Esq., and am glad that those who have are helping those who don't. I salute Mike Krahulik, Jerry Holkins, Scott Ramsoomair (VG Cats), and all others who stand up to this man, especially in a humorous fashion that benefits us all. Hopefully, soon his fifteen minutes will be up, and he will fade into the shadows, known only as that despicable bully who tried to bring down the entertainment industry, forgotten by most, reviled by all others.

cliffs: 1. Some guy named Jack Thompson, he is some a lobbyist of some sort, hates violent video games and the companies that make them. 2. Says that if some body made a video game about his fantasy, which is some angry parent goes on a murdering rampage to kill video game developers, that he will pay $10,000 to the charity of thier choice. 3. Some guys mod GTA San Andreas and make that scenerio. 4. Jack Thompson whines and says he didnt really mean it about donating $10,000 it was all a joke. 5. Penny-Arcade website guys donate $10k to some charity in that otherguys name and calls him an asshat. |
