No not like that........Why does it seem that everyone is sitting around about this bird flu thing? Seems like drug companies should/could be cranking out more or what might help with it(Convert VIagra plants to Tamiflu(this would piss alot of people off on this board but it should be done )). I realize we dont know exactly what we are dealing with as far as an antivirus but fuggin A lets do something. Open season on all birds or something Maybe its just me and the tin hat crew but Im pretty worried(like to the point where its all that I think about). Not so much for me but for my g/f, family, and everyone else. Seems like my G/f doesnt do well with colds/flu and she is a main concern for me. Anything I can do to better prepare? |
Put an airtight seal over her head to prevent intake of the flu virus? j/k.

yes and no on the preparing. lots of info in survival forum. my thoughts on why no action here.... -not a "proven" threat yet. still theortetical...but likely unavioidable at some future poinit. much like katrina. -resources not in place or phsically in existance to take care of world outbreak. sweep it under the rug and hope for the best. so to speak. - us cannot afford the monetary and economic cost of preparing for potentail threat. - population is too stupid to grasp the nuisances of a virus driven pandemic until people start dropping over in the streets. |

You cannot "convert" a plant to produce different medicine. The way the FDA approval works, you run a pilot plant to produce the drug for testing. Once its approved for full-production, only that pilot plant is approved to produce it, you can modify the plant to be as big as needed to meet demand, but you cant build another one without going through the approval process again. I read a article about it in Mens Health also and it says sex can boost the immune system by 30%. Pretty good article in this months issue as well as a write up about Airborne unit. Go pick it up, even if not to read yourself and just to show the wife/g/f that she needs to start putting out It just seems so stupid to not be a little more prepared. IMO people hitting the ground here is a little late. F-ing dumb I say just dumb. Anyone bought masks etc yet? Im not one to stockpile or build a bunker for shtf but the average folk around here dont anything? I have about 1000rd .223/400 9mm/250.40/150 12g/ and thats it. At what point are you going to get water/cans of food/masks. Or arent you? Just go when the good lord takes ya? |
