We had a Air show here in town today and saw the Blue Angels perform.......wow what a sight

At one point one of the F-18's came down on the deck around 200 feet at 600 mph....then pulled  straight up into a climb.....just  awesome

Makes you proud to be an American

Man, I had a chance to watch them from the flight line one time in Pensacola, but someone spoiled it for me.
I just love to watch them fly.

Had the pleasure of meeting the, hope this is correct, Naval aviators at a show here a few weeks back. What a class act, not only them but all the people that keep them flying.

Hey what part of Tennessee do you  live, I missed something.  Two years ago we were in the Clarion Suites cottages in Pensacola Beach and right at 0800 whoooooooooooosh right ovre the hotel, Every morning till the weekend we got an airshow on the beach, what a great trip, I hear the hotel now is gone, and hasnt been rebuilt yet we really like it there.

Pappy -was that out at NAS Millington? I was born and raised (partially) just off-base and I remember going everytime they had and airshow. I have seen both the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds there ,also the Golden Knights were always a kick to watch .Sorry i missed it .

Yeah, it was at Millington, TN.

I took my 4 yo Agnes there on Saturday.  She loves airshows

The f-18 flying at 100 mph is most impressive to me.

I got to fly one of their A-4's, when they were being replaced by the F-18. All the armor and excess weight was stripped out of it and it was in perfect mechanical condition. It was a hot rod.

As a kid I used to live on the base where they practiced in the late 60's - early 70's, always a great show on the weekends

Yah, they put on a good show.

I get to watch the thunder birds practice all the time. I can remember sitting in our computer room and hearing a roar and seeing one of the jets come in real low in the reflection of glare on the computer screen. Cool stuff. They practice over the acres of farm land in front of my house. They even slipped once and made a sonic boom.Every time they come to town they fly low right over my house!

Saw them here in Indy a couple months ago, and have seen them previously in both the A4s and the F/A-18s. Outstanding, every time!
