Okay so I fnally broke down and bought a new phone. Bestbuy was having this deal where you get a Motorola Razor for 99$ - So I got a black one. So who else has one and what do you think about it . Any tips on ring tones , connection to pc or any other tricks . |

Well I had a prepaid service before and was in no contract , but I didnt think it mattered I had the phone for 2 years already and I think I will always need a phone. I am going to actually be paying less per month. So it should work out just fine. |
Cingular - Any thoughts? I almost did NO research on either the phone or the company , it was almost more of a impulse buy because my current provider wanted 130$ for there cheapest phone and I already had there " cheap " phone and it SUCKED -battery life was next to nothing

I just got a new Nokia something and love it. It has the built in camera & flash, radio, mp3 player, media player, video & memo recorder, and enough games to keep me busy for weeks. So far I have 5 full length (2hrs each) movies on it, tons of porn and a bunch of mp3's. I honestly cant remember the model I have but I highly suggest it.ETA its a Nokia 6255i I suggest looking into it. Its not real thin but has a lot of upgrade options. It uses removable MMC cards. Right now I have a 1GB one that I found on ebay but I just realized that they make 2GB ones now Im gonna have to blow even more money to get one of those  . A 2 hour movie can be converted with the nokia converter to under 100mb. The picture & sound is pretty decent just small. I was playing around with a 32mb card and was actually able to get a full movie & some songs on it but the picture/sound quality was poor.

you have the nokia 6682.. not sure about Cingular being "pro-gun" .. never heard of the " cingular sponsered " event.. what we sometimes do is that the out dated promo stuff like life sized cutouts and have a GOOD time at the range... I plan on killing about 50 phones sometime this week.. Beats me, Oct would start the 4th qtr. I saw one on e-bay, I think it was from Australia. I'm waiting for it, because it seems to correct many of the complaints from Razr owners (mainly, lack of memory.) Plus, a 2mp camera is pretty fucking good. We'll see how expensive it turns out to be. I think it may turn out to be a niche item... It'll be out there, but not with the "HOLY SHIT" that the Razr got/has. |
| I have found Nokias to be tougher than other phones and provide stronger signal. Those are really the only things that concern me when buying a cell phone. I couldn't care less about all the games, cameras, and other bullshit as long as it is user friendly and has good phone features. |
If big M says 4thQ, that probably means it will be out 2Q '06 (still waiting on the V635 that was promised 2Q '05....) |

I have a Treo 600 -- of course the Treo 650 came out about a month after I parted with my money. I was thinking of upgrading to the next new release, but Treo have formally anounced that they are going over to the dark side, and the next Treo will run a Microsoft OS. Screw that. I already pay enough Microsoft taxes, so my next phone may well be something like the V3x. |
