I collect Japanese swords.  Although that has suffered due to the gun fetish.  I have actually sold almost all of them to buy guns...  But I have a line on another one now.

I also collect old fly fishing epuipment, reels and split bamboo rods mostly.

I collect roman coins, or used to. Collected old plastic models at one time too.

Guns pretty much killed my collecting days.

I have almost every issue of Soldier of Fortune since 1975.  I also collect Survive magazine, and other survivalist literature.

My collection of cold war memorbilia hasn't grown much these past ten years or so.  Mostly just have fallout shelter supplies, such as sanitation kits, water drums, radiac meters, dosimeters, gas masks, and such.  A lot of my old web gear got sold off to pay for guns.

Have been collecting since I was around 9.

I collect manuals of any sort.
I now own about 400 of them.
I have got many TM’s FM’s, and other military manuals.
Also I have got manuals dealing with “how to sell insurance to an unsuspecting customer”, a manual for interviewing candidates for a certain branch of government, how to use a gene sequencer, and many others.
I think the manuals made by companies for their sales staff and complaint hot line are the most interesting since they give an inside look of the dirty tricks that are used.

run of the mill stuff: coins and DVD's.  Unloaded a bunch of Matchbox stuff, and thinned out my library of paperback books.  Collecting usually means clutter.

Comic books. I had a small fortune in some titles, sold certain titles in their entirety a few years ago and made quit a bit.

Still have a few I would never part with.

Damn, used to buy those, in the mid to late 70's, had Sgt Rock, the Haunted Tank, Plop!, about 200 in all.  Gave them away taking up too much space

Somewhere around 2000 I started collecting 3 3/4" GI JOE figures. The kind that were big in the 80s. My younger brothers had them, I was a little too old. A guy at work got me started and one of my brothers jumped in too. It was fun. Going to the toy section of every store I could trying to find a new guy to check off my list. That only lasted about 2 years. They revamped the guys and they were a flop. Last I heard they were doing away with 3 3/4" all together.

At one time I was collecting 1979-1981 Camaros and Trans Ams.

Military gear and clothing. Cheaper Than Dirt and Sportsman's Guide love me.
