It depends on what type of Blackwater folks. The ex-SEALS, SF's, etc BW employees are overseas. The folks on the bridge may have been former LEO's, for all we know. |

They need to disarm and round up the NOPD.
They have been out there without food and water. Most importantly there is no communication as to what the plan is to take back the town or the ROE. Let the NG, US Army, USMC, and State Police handle this. They are all on the same page and have the ability to communicate. The NOPD needs a brake. |

If they were contractors with the engineers would the clothing and apperance ressemble that of the trouble makers?I doubt it.Sounds like a shoot first and ask questions later.Terrible thing to happen if they were just trying to protect the engineers.

No matter what happened, blame for this rests squarely on the shoulders of NO Mayor & LA Gov for not ordering looters shot on sight on Day #1. Never would have escalated to the ongoing train wreck New Orleans has become.

Just on CBS - Eight contractors were working on a bridge and were shot at by a gunman. NOPD shot the gunman.
