I filled up for 2.57 /gal yesterday.

Today it is at 2.99 /gal.

If it keeps climbing, shit is gonna start getting ugly.

If you add Stabil, it can last a year or two. But Stabil ain't cheap - it's something like $4.00 a bottle to treat 20 gallons of gas - so your overall price per gallon figure can go up pretty significantly.

I filled up 2 days ago, and the best gas prices here were 2.49 and 2.51 at a Racetrac and BJ's.

This evening Racetrac was at 2.69 and BJ's was at 2.58. Weird difference.

I'm dreading the 1000 mile drive I have to make this weekend.

Prices have sky rocketed here in West TN. $ 3.09 for regular

$3.09 for regular here in Cincinnati, Ohio too.
