Hell yeah I got a storage unit and took some of my stuff there already.

There is no lease we are both on a month to month situation with the homeowner, who lives out of town.

Then who's name is on the rental agreement? You do have a rental agreemnt with the landlord don't you?

Must have. I had a month-to-month renter in my rental unit and there was a written agreement (like with every other month to month I've heard of).

Nope not here. He likes it that way, and I like that way. No fuss no problem.

1. Does the roomate have your ss #?

2. HAve you lived there long enough to have had your driver's license at that address?

If you are sure you have no written rental agreement, and can answer "No" to both the above, and if you are for real, just go off into the sunset.

I hate the idea of running, but you will be overwhelmed. Until a lot of "authorities" wise up, all a female (why I agree with your putting that in the post, it changes the rules. I did not read the other thread about "fighting...etc.) has to do is mention the words "harassment" or "abuse" and you are FINISHED. No one will even hear, let alone heed your side.

When dealing with roomates, have no agreement or, if you must have one, have as little information as possible on it. Even if the lease was yours, she could make a lot of trouble with the right words. Use a cell phone. All bills to a PO box, preferably tied to another address.

Yeah - I was kinda wanting an explanation of that too.

There is no such thing as being able to report a roommate or friend for "harassment" as far as I know. It is a workplace issue, along with "hostile work environment" - it is not a criminal act that your roommate can "report" you for.

There is either a crime that was committed, or not. What CRIME did she report you for, troll?
