Turns out the IRS has goofed, sending 523,000 letters to payers saying they'll receive the maximum refund, when - in fact - they won't, says the Associated Press. The IRS blames a computer glitch. Officials stress all the checks themselves will have proper amounts. (RJH)

...just a reminder to take EVERYTHING the Govt. tells you with a grain of salt...but you already knew that...
