Ok so I have a new company car on order Dodge Magnum, when I call the status line it says the vehicle is scheduled for production the week of Aug 1 2005. I am just wondering how long it actually takes those robots to make a car once they start?

Somewhere on the other side of 20 hours. Then the vehicle has to be processed into the convoy yard, loaded for transport, delivered to the dealer, prepped and then they call you. Technically though, we build a new Explorer in Louisville every 45 seconds or so.
