I've got a shitload of tiny ants walking through my cabinets in my kitchen. They're the smallest ants I've ever seen - they're like 1.5mm long and light brown in color. There's a steady line of them walking from the outside wall, through the cabinet and into a box of Vinta crackers I sprayed ant spray in the bottom shelf before I saw the shitload of them walking in column across the second shelf. Seeing this I deployed ant baits in their column, hoping some of them will take the bait back to the nest. It's like something you'd see in a cartoon, with ants walking in a line across a picnic, carrying away the apple pie. Any ideas? Do these baits work? |
| I personally don't like spraying insect spray inside my house because the wife doesn't like the smell, but I found that Windex Window cleaner kills those things "deader than a door nail," and is whole lot less toxic than the anti spray. After the window cleaner evaporates, you just wipe up the ants, "no muss, no fuss." |
