| Does this have any effect on ATFs decision on import parts? I havent read the whole thing and just found out it passed. Dont know much about it, I'm sure it's a dupe dupe dupe so please direct me. |

SB 397 is the bill that will protect the gun manufacturers from frivilous lawsuits. It has passed the senate with the trigger lock amendment. HR 1703 is the bill to do away with the sporting purposes clause and will have more of an effect on import bans and other laws that are based on the sporting purpose clause. It has not come up for a vote yet. |
