I recently installed the latest Nvidia graphics drivers 77.72 and now all of my vidoes look like they're in "safe" mode.

I'm certain that I installed the correct driver but can't figure out why my videos are washed out.

Has anyone had this problem or heard of it and know exactly how to fix it?

Thanks....

Did you double check the resolution and color quality settings?  maybe they got reset to minimum after the driver install.

I would lean more towards it being a problem with the driver though.

I had the same problem...roll back the drivers to a previous version...I think I went back to 71.84.  It solved the problem.

+1  on the roll back

the latest drivers you installed are extremely screwed up..  just install an older version

Thanks for the replies.

I would roll 'em back but since I'm playing Battlefield 2, I need the latest drivers.

Here's what I did to solve the problem, at least in Windows Media Player:

Open up the video. Then click Tools, then Options, then Performance, then Advanced. Then check "Use High Quality Mode".
