Does anyone know of a 'test' that one can take that can show carreer choices? I'm thinking of quitting my home based businesses and looking for a real job but feel rather dejected about my possibilities. Not sure if I should go back to school, try to climb the dern latter or what. Patty |

the MMPII I'll try to get you the link it is an "interest inventory" evaluation, and can usually be done in HS guidance offices, and school psychology settings. very popular, and pretty accurate. ETA: www.pearsonassessments.com/tests/mmpi_2.htm |
Thank you, I appreciate your time. They want $60 bucks though! Blah. Patty *ETA* I found a freebee and took it [probably not as good] but thsi is what it said about me [none of which sound as interesting as my current job] : Life as an ESTJ (Extravert, Sensor, Thinker, Judger) People of this type tend to be energetic, friendly and outspoken; productive, organized and efficient; realistic and sensible but often skeptical about new or untested ideas; honest and direct to the point of bluntness; quick decision makers, opinionated, traditional, serious and accountable. The most important thing to ESTJs is doing the right thing and being in charge. Great careers for ESTJs Here are just a few popular and often satisfying careers for people whose Personality Type is ESTJ: Business executive Military officer Chief Information Officer Sports merchandise sales Paralegal Real estate agent Budget analyst Administrator: healthcare Database manager Corporate financial attorney Pharmacist Credit counselor Insurance agent Teacher: trade, industrial, technical Property manager |
