My ebay seller sent me an empty box. No item, just the box. No responses to my emails. By shipping me an empty box under PayPal's rules that makes the transaction a done deal and lets them out of refunding my money. I can't even talk to a human about it. As you all know ebay refuses to deal with fraud on their site as well. So I'm screwed.

Anyone else got that bend-over feeling from PayBay lately?

Did you pay via credit card?

They commited a crime here - and a federal crime at that if the package crossed state lines, or used the post office.

At the very least report it to the police, they will find a human to talk to at PayPal to find out exactly where the money was transferred to.

Good luck --they will open an "invetstigation" and "investigate" for 60 days or so and refer you to E-bay who will do the same and refer you back to paypal. IF the package went by USPS you can contact the postal inspector in your area and they will go after them for mail fraud. If this is the case I would talk with someone at paypal/ebay and imply that I was going to name them as co-conspiritors or facilitators in that complaint ---not that you will or can but it might help get some more attention out of them.
