[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Trillian users.

I am running the latest version of Pro. For a while now when a new IM comes in it doesn't pop up over everything it just goes to my hidden tray and flashes. Any ideas on how to change that setting?

Only thing I can see is under "Trillian Preferences", "Message Windows". That's a global setting. You can change each chat window to be different via "File", "Options" in that window.

When I used to get an IM, it would pop up over everthing... now it doesn't.

You want it to pop up? I like keeping mine in the tray until I am ready to read it, in case the "boss" is around.

Problem is my tray is hidden and most times I don't see them until way later and miss them

did you upgrade to a newer version or something?? I have this problem with gaim in linux, and it ticks the womenz off

maybe uninstall reboot and then reinstall a fresh copy.

double check the preferences, you could be overlooking it

Go to Trillian Preferences and then Message Windows. There should be a listing in there that says "When a new message window is created..." and have a few options under it, one of which says to show the window on desktop. Im on trillian basic though, so it may be different.
