I heard you can reload the 5.7 cartridge with a 243 bullet. Can anyone confirm this? Any other info out ther on this subject would be appreciated.

Probably would be too slow to do much. But I'm interested as well.

The twist is set up for light projectiles. I believe in the upper 30 to low 40g weight.

forget that 5.7 crap, 7.62x25 with a SS109 .223 in a sabot, that's where it's at right there.
