Well since its my day off work I wanted to stay home, but my dad wanted to go to the store and do laundry.

I told him I wanted to stay home, he still wants to go, I offer to let him take my car and I'll stay here, he still wants me to go, after over an hour of that I give in and go.

Well after doing laundry we go to the store and here is where it becomes fun,

The rain starts that fun you cant hardly see the lights of the car infront of you at the redlight rain.  After driving 10 miles in that we get to Kroger, well that entire part of towns power is out, and the parking lot on flooded, so on the way back I go the way that look lessed fucked up.

Bad idea, water 5" deep on the load, water overflowing out of the manhole covers getting good height to it too, same with storm drains.

Finally after driving home through strrets with enough water to start covering my exhuast Im home again 3 hours later

We could use some of that in MI.  My grass has been brown for a month.  I've finally decided to run the sprinklers all night and just take the hit on the water bill.

Bad enough when its just wet, when there is a few inches deep of standing water it becomes a real problem

I encountered it often during my time stationed in Georgia, its really weird, water falls from the sky.  and its not from a sprinkler or hose either, just falls from the clouds.  friggin spooky man, I'm glad I got back here where we dont deal with that kind of crap.
