Does anyone know how to block certain phone numbers .  My mom keeps getting calls from this collection company about her asshole brother . I don't know how this company got her phone number but they call all hours of the day and night asking for her brother.  I noticed  on her caller ID 2 phone numbers come up when they call so doing the *60 block might not work due to this .  Is there a way to manually input the numbers to be blocked  or any other  helpfull tips . TIA

Call your telephone provider and ask them to block those numbers.

they got her number because lenders always ask for a next of kin.

I block all numbers, more or less.

I have no home phone, only a Motorola cell phone, there is a security setting.

Incoming calls-  All- Phonebook - None.

Peace of mind is priceless.

The next time the same person calls, tell them that he changed his number to-(the number of the local police station).

When the collection agency calls, don't answer it... let it go to the answering machine.  A few hours later, have someone else call back to the number on the message, and say "there's nobody here by that name."

The dirtbag who had my number before me apparently stiffed a lot of people, and this method has worked well for me.
