I've seen some websites which claim to be ablel to legally ordain you over the net. C'mom, does anyone know if this is true?

But an empty bottle is still empty even thought it has a label on it.

they have some pretty interesting.... ummm.... beliefs

We ask only that you promote the freedom of religion and do that which is right. It is up to the individual to determine what is right as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others and is within the law.

yes i can. in fact one of our bama crew ended up doing a freinds wedding when the minister was a no show.about the only religious ceremony you can't do is a briss.

i did it just because i could and for the novelty of it. i have no plans to ever present myself as a holy man.

Many years ago I sent away for my Universal Life Church ordination certificate through the mail by answering an ad in the back of Popular Mechanix magazine.  Now you can do it in seconds by visiting their web page.  And unlike university degrees, this is totally legal and allows you to perform marriages, hold services, take collections, etc.
