What do you think of these little safes with keypads for quick access to your house gun, as well as checkbooks, cameras, and other items you want easy access too, but don't want to lose to a 5 minute burglary? Are they secure enough for you? Do they keep the kids at bay? Any problems with them? They seem great to me, but I would like to see a lighted keypad for night use. These models have a removable panel with a keylock behind it for when the batteries go dead, you forget the combo, or SHTF EMP worries: Safe 1 Safe 2 |
Added pic for you. That's the only one I could see owning other than or in addition to a big heavy gun safe. |

Thanks for the pic drobs. I like the rubber hand indentation. You can find it quickly in the dark. Now they have a biometric (thumbprint) one that looks even better (quicker). It’s between $300 and $400 so I won’t be getting anything like that till the technology brings the price down.
+1 You SHOULD be able to turn that feature off. |
