I just ordered a camelback 50 oz hydropak for $10 plus $3.99 shipping. Thats a pretty goodbuy, they are usually $29.99 plus shipping. They are 2004 closeouts. Yup I am a sucker for discounts.

The discounts dont work for multiple item orders. If you want more then one you have to reorder each one. If you get two at once the cost is more then if you ordered them individually.

Thanks for the heads up. My total was $14.85 with tax.

I think they may be out of stock - it said estimated arrival date was June 24, but it may have meant estimated date of delivery. Not sure.

Mine is scheduled for delivery on the 28th. I think the delivery times are dependent on how far you live away from their source. Not out of stock yet. Still able to take orders.

I picked up similar 50oz units for my Kids at Bass Pro Sporting Goods. $12 and change.

They came in red/silver or blue/silver and had a small zippered pocket on the back.

They hold 50% more water than the kids' Cammel back and cost half as much - and the straps adjust so my 7 year old can wear even when he's a grown man.

Edit: I should point out - a friend of mine saw them at Sams Club recently for $9.99, he told me this AFTER I bought them from Bass Pro.

Now thats funny!

The only bad thing about these camelbacks is that there are no pockets for stuff and no across the chest strap. I guess you could improvise.

Thanks, ordered two (one to my place, the other to my parents') for $14 each.

Check their military website for accesories: Click hereThe sternum strap is $5.20.
I'll probably add the sternum strap, hydrolink conversion kit, hydrolink bite cover and insulated tube cover in time, since I do lots of stuff in the deserts of Utah & Arizona (and already have a HAWG from their military line). Too bad all those accesories cost $32, no wonder the military bags cost so much more than the civilian ones.
