| Watched some parts of faces of death III tonight. How real are these series of movies? They had once cool scence where there was a shoot out between police and drug dealers in the everglades on boats. The cops had an early AR, they hit one of the bad guys and they gave up. Also had a scene from vietnam where the camera man was shot. Are all these videos real? The police looked way too relaxed in the shootouts. |

Alot of the Faces series are recreations with some real footage mixed in. Some are blatant fakes and redos. Now....TRACES of Death. That shit will keep you up at night. It's just still pictures and video. Most of the time with no narration. Just people getting shot, stabbed, run over, found dead, autopsies, etc. I watched the first 3 about 10 years ago. Still have alot of the imagery stuck in my head. Part of me says we need to see death in its various forms, to remind us of our mortailty and how something that we think is harmless will kill us in a second. Other part of me hates seeing that stuff. |
Snopes needs to update their page since there are real snuff videos available, namely all of those ROP beheadings |

On my soapbox: You fucks that led a sheltered life and have this Goddamn fucked up fascination with death need to go see a fucking shrink. Thank God you didn't have to see that shit in real life and stop renting a fucking video to see it. Off soapbox Alcohol may have been a factor in the above post. |

I'll ask this here to see what kind of response the arfcom mind will give: Watching snuff shit like faces/traces will get you called a sick fuck. How about those medical shows? I'm talking the ones where it's like open heart surgery? It's all blood and gore as far as imagery, right? So....opinions? Shouldn't watch any of it, only the medical stuff, only the death stuff? Reasons why? I had one guy tell me the medical stuff was okay cause the people 'lived' at the end. I responded with not all of them. What about the news media? For example, the beheadings? Should it be shown? Or repressed? How does that related to the snuff and medical stuff? |
Perhaps you missed the original question ![]()
There is tons of footage of people really being killed . Both by accident and intentionally , but as of yet . No one has compiled it into a film for commercial media . |
Watching crap like that can f*ck you up. Stop it. |
yeah, just don't get obsessed with it. nothing wrong with curiosity, even if it's morbid curiosity, it's the human condition. guys who've seen this shit close-up for real have often had their fill and don't need to see it anymore. there's no mystery to it. |
It's not as bad as Tubgirl! That WILL f*ck you up permanently… nothing is a bad as that shit…
|
snopes just need to adds the little footnore * as in for profit, the ROP beheading vids woulnt fit the traditional snuff film defination there not for profit but for terrorising. |

There was a bizarre (somewhat funny) scene (probably not for for the victim though) in another snuff fiilm series - a vhs series called "Death Scenes". There was a guy with a camcorder on a street corner in Rio or some place similar, just rolling film (a tourist maybe?). A guy on a motorcycle rolls thru an intersection, and gets nailed / T-boned by an ambulance coming from the side street. The guys in the ambulance stop, run around and get the stretcher, put the guy on the bike on to the stretcher and load him into the ambulance. They then zoom away, lights/sirens blaring. Another bystander runs out into the street and grabs the bike, and starts rolling it away.... That was pretty fukt up to watch.... I agree, a lot of the stuff on FoD is staged/recreated. |
only scences I watched were the police chase and the vietnam scence. None were worse than what you can see on network TV everyday. Also did see the shark attack but nothing worse then ones they had on the discovery channel |
dont have a fascination with death was just wondering if the clips were real, because they didnt look it |
