what temp do you keep the AC set on in the summer? I like 76º-78º. |

72 on a normal day. If I have a lot of "traffic" or company (lots of folks throwing off body heat when we have the family over for Sunday dinner) I'll knock it down to 68. Granted I built the place myself and it is extremely well insulated. ETA- in this neck of the woods, the majority of the gain in comfort level from A/C is from its dehumidifying property. It's amazing how HOT 90F feels at 99% humidity, verus 100F at 10%. 72F in the A/C at 20% humidity is comfy. |
