I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm kind of sick of seeing all the personalized license plates here in occupied Kalifornistan. I really don't care what these people do for a living or who they like/love or the size of thier ego. To me, they are about as lame as the "My child was student of the month at ...". I have kids and am very proud of them, but I don't feel the need to tell every Tom, Dick and Harry about it. OK, enough ranting. On the other hand, the ONLY plate I would consider is this: " 1MP54ME " PLEASE Rotsa ruck here in Kali. BTW: "One MP-5 for me" for those still waking up. |
Ehh. I will give this rant a 5.25 |
| Hey, they're so common in Virginia that we have a thread on the subject in the hometown forum. |
Haven't checked the Kali forum, I'm sure someone has already posted. How about this one- "NO1UNO" read: "no one you know" |

I'm trying to figure out what to put on mine. Just got a new car, going to put veteran's plates on it. My initial choice was something like M1A1TC or M1A1PL, but unfortunately, (a) I'm now a staff weenie, and (b) They're disbanding my tank battalion. Currently considering "IRAQ04" (Six characters max limit) NTM |
I read it as "number 1 uno"

The PC patrol will be along shortly to take you away for re-education. |

This evening I was in back of an S500 MB..Plate read 'WESUE4U', and some legal association sticker on truck lid. Plate had a smoked cover over it so dark that if I hadn't been right behind him I couldn't have read it. Worst one I've seen was 'IAMA10' on an ugly wench's Seville a long time ago. |
Last year somebody brought a line of code where you could make up your own fake Vanity plates.
This one will produce a plate that says IBTL. Just change the letters when I indicated and you will have a Michigan license plate saying whatever you want. ByeFox |

When I was in high school, I had this: IH8GM. It was on a Mustang GT. It really pissed the GM owners off. Also caused me to emberess quite a few Z's & Vettes. Now I just have standard issued plates, can't see spending the extra $$. Just remembered this also. When I went to get rid of that Mustang. I went car shopping with my mom. We drove through a few GM dealerships (looking for used of course), she'd try to hide her face, cause of the plates. The salesmen would come up to the car & say "I assume you not looking for a new car". I'd reply with "What was your first clue?" Kind of funny I thought. |

I don't think a plate that says "follow me home I have guns" is a good thing. That's right up there with "always do a felony stop on me because I have guns" and "break into this truck as it has guns" plates. I don't do gun or political window stickers or bumper stickers for that very reason. I do have an American flag on the truck which is pretty safe. From a tactical stand point I aways want the advantage of surprise. |
i actually looked at that up here and it said it isnt available...not taken, it just couldnt be made. |
I know what you mean, Master Chief, but I must admit, when I was driving through some pretty rough neighborhoods back in STL on the way home when the expressway was down, the crap would look like it was about to start, then amazingly stop when the thugs saw the MCL logo and the indication that I 1: MIGHT be armed, and 2: Be trained to use it. The only time I've had a weapon stolen was when I registered a 1911 with the Washtenaw County, Michigan Sheriff's Department, and it was stolen by someone who got a registered weapons listing from an insider at the department. That's one reason why I don't particularly care for weapons registration, among others.

A Beastie Boy wannabe I went to high school with actually had the tag. That was around '87 or so. |
I've had the opposite response from LEO's...they always comment they like it. No tickets or pull over's yet.... |
