I am just such an idiot. Creationism requires ONLY ONE faith based assumption. Macro evolution requires dozens, and leaves many more questions COMPLETLY unanswered. Back to the thread subject matter, macro ev's don't believe in Eugene Stoner, as they cannot presently see him, tho they they see evidence of his designs. Creationists beleive the AR15 rfle is strong evidence of his existence. |
Ya know. You trying to educate me on evolution is about like me trying to educate Old_Painless on Christianity.  Evolution requires ZERO faith based assumptions. Science is based ONLY on observable evidence. Science KNOWS the AR15 is the product of Eugene Stoner because we HAVE the evidence. We don't have to "believe" it.

Which is EXACTLY the way I feel when I see the intricacies of the galaxies, and the stunning complexity of the human eye - I HAVE the evidence of a Intelligent Designer. You can look at Eugene Stoners original rifle, and the variations down thru time, and KNOW there is an intelligent designer BEHIND EVERY SINGLE ONE. Yet, you can look at the FAR more complex universe, and NOT know there is a sentient designer. There's really nothign to say beyond that. YOu believe EVERY rifle takes a intelligent designer, but the human eye doesn't.   |
See that's just it. We don't "look at it" and know. We KNOW from the evidence such as the records of Armalite. If we simply looked at it, our conclusions would be subjective. It certainly would exist, but proving how it came about is another matter. The stunning complexity of the human eye and the universe and everything in it are NOT proof of a creator. They are simply proof that they exists. There is NO PROOF of a creator, there is not even proof that one exists because if there were proof then it would become science. I KNOW a rifle was created because I have seen PROOF. I know the human eye is created by genetics but I don't have proof of where life itself first came from. |
