1) If they are going to be using one mag per zombie, I hope they brought a lot of ammo. 2) My inner monologue was screaming, "WOULD YOU LOOK AT THE DAMNED ROAD ALREADY!!" Hope he learned his lesson. 3) Vartan and Garner were hot and heavy last year. I don't imagine Vartan wants to play like he's married to her now that she's carrying Ben Affleck's love child. Cause, ew. |
I know what you mean - my wife & I both about jumped out of our seats. (We just got around to watching it backlast night.) Brilliant directorial/editing moment IMHO - have him just start to slowly, softly say something that the viewers are intently listening to in order to catch every word of the exposition and then WHAM! out of nowhere. Very effective. Kudos to Abrams & his team. 
Forget inner monologues - my wife already wasn't happy with all the rumors floating around abouthis possible demise & she was literally chastising him out loud for not watching the road. (FWIW, she was also disappointed that Nadia didn't die - she doesn't like the character or the related plotline.  I don't really agree with her on that one.)
