Have any of you seen the movie collateral with Jamie foxx and Tom Cruise?
If so, correct me if I am wrong but that is and HK sidearm that Tom is carrying? I slomo the gun fight scenes and in every scene Tom uses that HK surgically. Not many movies revlove around one gun , especially a handgun. I know it's hollywood but It's still the best handgun movie to date.

He later uses a Ruger .22.

Not that this has anything to do with the original question, but how the heck do you train for three months (probably getting some world class training at that) with an H&K and not come away as a bonafide pistol lovin', pro-gun, 2nd Amendment advocate? I mean, c'mon!  Do you just drive home to your Brentwood estate and think "Gosh, I'm glad I won't ever have to pick up one of those again?!!"

The extras on the DVD show him training with a guy who I believe they said was an ex- S.A.S. trooper. Said he put in some hours for quite a while and Michael Mann scheduled and paid for it.
Looked like he was having a pretty good time.

I know!
The first time I picked up my H&K P2K was the beginning of a chronic case of "evil black gun" disease. First time I pulled the trigger, that was it. The H&K made the AR necessary, the FS-2000 I will have some day, and probably the Kimber I'll pick up because I feel it is necessary. See what those HKs do?

One of my all time movies that I can watch over and over.  Great gunplay and as a CHL daily carrier it's nice to see a good pistol movie with proper training.

I don't know why he put up with Jaime Fox for so long, I would have killed that whiney bitch way earlier in the movie

Good movie... If you ignore the last 10 minutes when Mr. Pussy Taxi Driver sprouts a dick all of a sudden and learns how to out-shoot a well experienced hitman.

I think somewhere in the movie one of the Det. speaks of a past crime in which a taxi driver
who commits "suicide" gets the blame for the murders in one night of several men that had
no connection to the driver or each other.

+1. After the awesome ending of To Live and Die in LA, I was expecting much more than that.

I thought this thread looked familiar! I asked the same question a few months back, where 223-4me posted this awesome link.
