What was the name of the old computer game that had two tanks and you fired shots at each other after setting your angle and power?  It was 2D and crappy looking with horrible graphics that looked 4 bit but it was so addicting.  You could put up sheilds and switch weapons from one to another.  I always remember the best weapon being hot napalm.  I think the wind and gravity varied from round to round too.  I tried a search for "Tanks game" but I find different games.  I think it was out way back in the appleII days.

Sounds like pocket tanks.
It's a good game for just passing the time. Not all day!

No it was 2 deminsional and the tanks didn't move.  You just raised and lowered your gun and adjusted your power to account for wing and gravity.  It looked really blocky and was really simple to play.  We had it back in 92 when I was in school so that should give you a timeframe.  I have googled like a MF and can't find a keyword to bring it up.

Standby and let me check out pocket tanks.

Pocket tanks is the concept just a new version.  The one I am talking about was a lot more crude.
