I have heard people talking about how they are going to "blast a cap in you wit my 9, bitch." Or People brag how they "bring their glock everywhere." And when I ask them who makes Glocks (I know trick question, but still) they say Remington, or "Smithin and Westurn, fool". When I look around school, I don't see people I want running this country in 10 to 20 years. I only see people who think they are a "Pimpin gangsta with there gat." I kinda gets scary after a while. So I call upon my brothers (and sisters) here at ARFCOM with a question: Do you think this is just a phase. Or is the gun community, and maybe even the country doomed to a horrible fate?

As long as the gun community keeps educating and fighting it will never be doomed. I used to care less about gun rights. I stumbled upon a number of gun forums (this one included) about 18 months ago. Now I am an NRA member, a staunch conservative, and willing to fight for all my rights!

| I think it is just a phase, they tend to happen all the time. As a side note, I see a lot of people at my school like that but I also see a lot of very bright intelligent people (I still wouldn't want them to run the country as they are democrates, but I'm sure in other states there are Repubs like that too) Most of us clever people just stay out of their way |
See, if there where half inteligent people at my school I wouldn't worry. But every last one of them thinks they are gangstas or posing as gothic posers because they think it makes them cool. |

Holy Jesus QUICK somebody teach him some trigger discipline. For some reason my Suppressed Beretta 92 and Mac look alot better than those two. I am only 21 so who knows maybe there is a future leader lurking on arfcom not all of us youngsters are banger and thug wannabes |

No. I believe the country is moving to the right. The problem is the media is leftist. I believe that as the internet, talk radio and FOX gain even more popularity that this move to the right will gain even more momentum. People are tired of having PC shoved down their throats, God and tradition stolen from them and their rights and freedoms taken away. |
A lot of them will be in jail, with any luck. The smart ones, who are repulsed by the behavior you mention, tend to be the ones who go on to higher education and positions of power. Please Fox, tell me that isnt you in the picture......

I hope that whichever son of a bitch thats 'gonna cap me wif his glock'can shoot better thanI can...or he will see his ancestors in short order. That's if he knows who his ancestors are. Stupid fuckers....their parents work their asses off to provide a home and an education for them...and they aspire to be ghetto scum.

| these are hte guys that bring knives to school, or illegaly modify thier weapons. they think they are supreame. they are not part of the gun community, they are hte guys who dont pass background checks becasue they didnt follow gun laws the first time they legaly baught one. |
