A man wearing a balaclava entered the Londis store in Stanley Street, Bedford, between 0630 BST and 0700 BST on Monday and demanded money. Even though the shopkeeper had a gun pointed to his head and was threatened with a knife, he refused. The would-be robber, described as white and in his 20s, ran off empty-handed. Police are appealing for witnesses. The clerk got LUCKY. |
