Attempted armed robbery at store
A shopkeeper foiled an attempted armed robbery by refusing to hand over cash, despite being threatened with a gun and a knife.
A man wearing a balaclava entered the Londis store in Stanley Street, Bedford, between 0630 BST and 0700 BST on Monday and demanded money.

Even though the shopkeeper had a gun pointed to his head and was threatened with a knife, he refused.

The would-be robber, described as white and in his 20s, ran off empty-handed.

Police are appealing for witnesses.

The clerk got LUCKY.
