Ok...my P2P software (WinMX) just does not get results any more. I am DONE trying to figure out why. Can someone give me a crash course in Bit Torrent....I understand this is a better approach any way. What do I need to use it, how do I use it and what makes it better than traditional P2P? Links? Thanks for the help. |

Try this client. Azureus You just need to poke the appropriate holes in your firewall. I also limit the up/down bandwidth and concurrent sockets, because very high traffic can nuke your cable modem/router. Of course, I only use bittorrent to download Linux distros and technical papers. Cough. Cough. |
