That has got to be the suckiest poll ever.

It should appear in the political dictionary next to the term "push polling"

You DO know what "push polling" is don't you??

Sure do. This isn't scientific in any sense of the word. I am just trying to see if anyone supports dry counties.

I live near a dry county, and it has one of the worst alcohol road fatality rates in the state.  All I think it accomplishes is that it makes the drunks drive to the county line and back.    Pretty pointless if you ask me.

IF that were your agenda (it ain't) you should have had a "Yes / No" poll.

Not a "I'm an idiot who hates freedom and I'm for dry counties" vs. "I'm a great defender of the COnstitution and I'm for sensible drinking" poll.

I am. That is why I am against dry counties. I don't think any majority has the right to enforce its will upon a minority. Whatever happens on private property is that property owners business.

No, because no one is forcing them to drink the alcohol. In your view it would be okay to have certain states that outlawed gun ownership, because we wouldn't want to force our opinion down their throats.

I'll add to that: I can't buy a bottle of scotch at the gas station or the supermarket in this state, I've noticed. I have to go to a "State store". Lame. I'm suprised I can buy liquor without a permit.

I do not know what you are smoking tonight. I believe in property rights. If you want to sell alcohol on your property you should have the right to do so. If you want to have a gun on your property you should have the right to do so. In that sense I do have principles.
