Was shooting up some Olympic ammo, I know people here have had problems with it, but this was bought before i knew about the problems with headspace etc. That has got to be the filthiest ammunition i have ever shot!!! EVERY friggin round i had to manually work the action, because it would not feed the next round itself due to the filthiness of the ammo!!Some double feeds, some short strokes like enough gas wasn't making it back to work the action! By the end of 90 rounds i took the rifle apart to see what the bolt carrier looked like and it kind of oozed out of the upper reciever, when it should have pulled out easy!! I actually had to really pull on it! The last time i saw Carbon build up that gooey and sticky was in a .22LR! I have never shot ammo that dirty burning not even my reloads!! And i know it was the ammo, because i shot some Malaysian Equivalent M-193 ball and the rifle functioned fine and the only carbon was at the back of the bolt and bolt chamber.That was after 60 rounds. And accuracy? "Fuggetaboudit!!!" Anyone want my last three boxes of Greek Nightmare??!! I've never been so disappointed with a day shooting in my life!!! A Vietnam vet started getting on me about "Ahh thats normal for those pieces of Shit!" I told him no it is not this rifle worked fine the first time i had it the range with other ammunition! |
