I have a 04 Taco Extra cab 4x4 and I am wanting to get myself a bedliner for it. I have had the truck less then a year and already the bed is scratched and dented to hell. I was thinking about spray on bed liners but they run $350 for the Rhino to almost $500 for LineX. I have heard about Herculiner $100 DIY roll on liner and have been looking into that option. I have read some online reviews and they have all been favorable. What are your experiences with it. Besides a little elbow grease I think it might be worth it. What say you?

Go with line x, they will cover the dents too. Lasts forever.

I've got a Duraliner in the bed of my Toyota and it's tough as nails. It has taken a beating and still looks pretty good.

A 9MM Ranger HP wouldn't penetrate it from 3 ft away.

Don't ask how I know.

I have NO knowledge or experience of the product you specify.

I used herculiner on both of my CJ-7 jeeps....It works good but the key part is you have to really prep the surface first...Lots of sanding and taping off parts you don't want herculined.  Its not near as nice of quality as a professional coating and honesty I'd spend the extra money and get it done.  I didn't choose this because it was used in my trail rigs!

Get a pro to do it!  If you've got the dough for an '04 Toyota, you've got the dough for the Rino.

It was so easy to do it myself, and Wal-Mart sells bedlining stuff for $40 a gallon (I can't remember the brand).  Spent another $10 on brushes, sandpaper, and degreaser.  From start to finish took all of three hours.  It took about 35 hours to dry, due to cloudy and cool weather that rolled in minutes after I started.

It still looks good, and I saved enough to buy a C-Mag
