CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Police say a man who confessed to a shooting that left a lawyer blind and his wife dead has now implicated the couple's son.

Police arrested Garrett Kopp, 21, last week. He admitted to breaking into the home of John and Susan Sutton at 4725 Orduna Drive on Aug. 22, 2004 and shooting them during a robbery. Susan Sutton was shot to death, just days after her 57th birthday. Her husband, a Coral Gables attorney, was shot in the head and survived, but lost the sight in both eyes.

Now investigators say that they are looking for the Sutton's 26-year-old son, Christopher Patrick Sutton.

Monday, police issued a first-degree murder warrant for Sutton. They said he should be considered armed and dangerous. Sutton may be trying to flee the area in a 2003 black Ford F150 with a hard cover on the bed. The truck has the Florida license number V99YZP.

Sutton is 6 feet tall and weighs 250 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes and wears glasses. He has multiple tattoos on his upper and lower back.

Sutton's last known address was 3310 Bird Avenue, Apartment 107 in Coconut Grove.

Kopp, the man who implicated Sutton, is charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder, armed robbery and the use of a firearm in a felony.

Neighbors told Local 10 that they were shocked when police said that Sutton was involved in the murder. They said he and his girlfriend had moved back into the home after the shooting to take care of his father.
