I just cant find where the batteries go. 
its a hobby just like anything else. I started out shooting bb guns and so did alot of people. I would have loved to have had a bb gun that looked like an m16 when I was a kid - instead of the red ryder type that was so prevalent. Why do you people put down what many people start out with in the gun arena? It's like you learn to tricycle before a bycicle. You learn the bike before the motorcycle. Same with bb guns imo.  Some of you are sounding like elitist liberals in here. |

Simple - we don't like POSEURS. I've got no problem with folks that want to play with airsoft. It's the guys that want to BE Seals, Delta, ATF, whatever, that I have a problem with. A bunch of wannabes, that often blur the line between reality and their toys. They talk about missions and get awards, they come on REAL gun boards and talk about their equipment as if it were real. Wanna play electric bb guns? Have fun. Wanna come here and pretend the stuff is just like the real thing? Get lost. There are lot's of AirSoft forums - why come here in the 1st place?? |

Not only cops my friend. There is a definate down side to something that looks that real but isn't. I hope no one ever points one of those at me, because mine don't shoot little plastic balls. |

I will freely admit that airsoft are some uber cool toys. I do in fact buy them for my children. They do in fact enjoy playing with them. I particularly like that they come in clear plastic for the many reasons stated here. I ain't gonna knock it for what it is. I'm also probably gonna buy the kids stuff from our new sponsor. I can see some training benefit from life fire one on one or team drills in certain LE or military training scenarios. I think what some people take exception to though is that the feel they have been fooled when they have just discussed long winded and drawn out discussions about weapons and gear only to find that while they were talking about the real deal, the person on the other end was a kid discussing toys. |
The local PD where I live use airsoft to train. Some of them play on teams too.

| I was thinking about getting my Delta Force squad together(after homework and chores are done) and getting all geared up.Then take a trip to the bad part of town and we could then pretend to be DEA agents.We could do like fake search and siezures and stuff. I am pretty sure my mom will let us use the minivan,so we could all jump out at the same time and pretend to arrest people,just like real cops!!!That would be fun!!! |

Maybe we could have a part in the EE just for the buying,selling and trading of airsoft goods and services ? I would like to trade some stuff. I have some 75th ranger and 82nd abn shoulder patches I want to get rid of. I also have a C.I.B. and E.I.B. badges.I think I might have some CSM shoulder patches as well!!! I can also make some Honorable discharge certificates to put on your wall!!They look real too!! The possibilities are endless!!! |
